Super Success Stories

Shobhit was a little child in Hardoi, a small town in Uttar Pradesh, where he helped his father in the backbreaking work as a brick kiln labourer. Life was hard, yet his passion for singing never died.

His chance appearances at two iconic shows, Students of the Year and Mera Bhi Naam Hoga, both organised by ENC and APN News, changed his life forever. These breaks were more than a dream come true for Shobhit.

He remembers those days where even food was scarce. It was his passion for singing that kept his spirits up. After he was selected through the audition for the reality show Mera Bhi Naam Hoga he excelled and never looked back. He was selected for Indian Idol Junior and today is a well known name in the high world of music. We wish him well.

Vaibhav Mishra is a very special talent in every sense. He has fought with cerebral palsy since birth; he never gave up. Cerebral palsy results in prominent motor disability, but his divinity lay in his music.

That is beyond all disabilities. Vaibhav, of Prayagraj, initially came to light at a Students of the Year Fest, organised by APN News, and followed it up with a brilliant show at our other special programme, Mera Bhi Naam Hoga

He went on to top other fests, such as the reality show Maati Ke Bol and has also been a Zee TV Saregama finalist. Today, he has done his masters in music and is a name to reckon with. We are proud to have found this precious talent.

Born in a poor farmer’s family of Ayodhya, Jyoti Tiwari today has touched the sky. Today Jyoti Tiwari is a well-known singer of the Bollywood, Haryanvi and Bhojpuri industries. She has recorded more than 450 songs till now and is working with most of the big music companies of the country, setting new highs through her songs.

Her journey began when she finished second runner-up at the talent hunt show Student of the Year organized by EN Communication (parent of APN News) and followed it up by winning the prestigious Mera Bhi Naam Hoga show, organized by APN News

The talent we discovered went on to participate in reality shows, such as Star Utsav Sur and Sur Sangram. Jyoti has remained loyal to her roots and her beginnings, and gives credit to APN News helping push her to the top. We are proud of her.

Pinky hails from the Madhubani district of Bihar. Her father was an auto driver and life was tough. But her strength was her sweet voice, loved by her family and, today, adored countrywide.

Qualifying for the reality show Students of the Year, she got the top award in the Best Desi Voice category. Today, Pinky has become synonymous with bhajans, Bhojpuri, Maithili and other folk songs.

Aavya, from Lucknow, was fond of music since she was 2. From then, She has been the star of the family; but the real exposure came when, at just 8 years old, she participated in APN News’ iconic singing reality show Mera Bhi Naam Hoga. She followed this up with a great performance at the tough Students of the Year Fest, and, at just 13, Aavya was chosen to appear in other reality shows, such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Taare Zameen Par and Phir Bhi Dil.
